E aqui vai a crítica:
"Avant-garde director Christoph Schlingensief's production premiered at the Bayreuth festival Sunday, drawing a mixed reaction, with some of the black-tie audience booing at the conclusion of the performance in the opera house Wagner had built in the 19th century to stage his works.
Chosen to liven up the festival, now in its 93rd year, Schlingensief drew on African myths and images for his Parsifal. His use of on-stage nudity and projected backdrops also raised eyebrows.
The festival's biggest controversy in years reignited Monday with Schlingensief's broadside against tenor Endrik Wottrich, who has called the director's version "an abomination" that strays too far from Wagner's tale of medieval knight-priests and the Holy Grail.
Schlingensief told a news conference that Wottrich had "a purity notion" of Germany that he didn't agree with. He claimed the tenor had objected to the inclusion of blacks in the staging of the opera and had used the German word "Neger," which is translated as Negroes and has a similar derrogatory meaning in German.
There was no immediate comment from Wottrich, who was not at the news conference.
Festival director Wolfgang Wagner, an 84-year-old grandson of the composer, defended Wottrich's previous criticism that the director's production was an unworthy interpretation of Wagner's original. "Artistic freedom also implies a freedom to speak," he said Monday." O pior é que ninguém me dá ouvidos...:-)
